Lyle Acoose

Lyle Acoose
Student
Lyle is from the Ochapowace First Nation. He began his studies at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies. He was the first student to take part in PotashCorp's Aboriginal internship program and interned as a co-op student in Cameco's Corporate Social Responsibility Department.
Lyle is very involved in extracurricular activities at the Edwards School of Business such as the Aboriginal Business Student Society and has participated in the development of the Stepping Stones manuals which provide First Nations youth with information about urban living. He provides entrepreneurial workshops at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge.
The advice he would give to incoming students is to put lots of effort into their studies but also to get involved in volunteer work. He says with effort, studies become easier and volunteering is a great way to make friends and become part of the ESB community.
