Blake Gill is from Choiceland. Blake graduated from he Edwards sChool of Business in 2006 with a major in Marketing and a double major in Business Economics. He received numerous awards and scholarships while attending university.

While Blake grew up in a largely non-Aboriginal community, he gradually rediscovered his roots and became more invoved in understanding his history and his culture. Culture has become and enormous source of pride as he sees the amazing history, accomplishments and potential of Aboriginal people.

Blake is currently working in the marketing department at Nexen Inc. and is confident that more employers will succeed in hiring, promoting and retaining Aboriginal people by communicating that they support, value and need Aboriginal people in their organizations.
