Amy Tratch
CIBA ('05), B.Comm. ('08)
Amy is a recent graduate of the Edwards School of Business. She intends to continue her education by pursuing a Certified Management Accounting designation.
Amy found it challenging to find the courage to enroll in an educational institute. She had been in the workforce for a number of years and although she knew education was important, she felt somewhat lost and alone. Once she took the initiative to investigate possibilities at the Edwards School of Business, she was overwhelmed by the support she received.
Her classmate Darlene Johnson and Aboriginal Initiatives Director, Leanne Bellegarde provided caring support to Amy throughout her years at ESB. Amy found the Rawlco Room to be valuable resource centre providing supports which helped her to graduate with Distinction. Amy was also the recipient of the Rawlco Award for Aboriginal Business Education, a $2,000 value.
